OK Let me discuss about How To Enter Pwned DFU Mode And Use Custom IPSW Firmware. As I write messages on the iPhone from the last two posts, let me add a greater role in relation to the same topic – Escape from prison. If you know about the custom firmware for iDevices, you may also know that to use any custom IPSW firmware on any device, you must first enter Pwned DFU mode.

How to enter DFU mode with redsn0w Pwned?
Remember my post “How to: Use redsn0w 0.9.6b2 to enter DFU and use the custom firmware in Windows?” He described the work itself. In this post, I covered the old version of redsn0w – redsn0w 0.9.6b2. This version was planned to enter pwned DFU mode only.The redsn0w 0.9.6rc8, which was released some time ago, more features and some tips and tricks (tied), and the disabled (for future hactivation SAM) and so on – the latest version. They also have the same option to enter DFU pwned. We will use the same version here.
How to use redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 to enter DFU mode PWNED?
Updated: launch a new version of redsn0w which has a new user interface. To use the new version of redsn0w (redsn0w => 0.9.9b1) for the device in DFU development Pwned, reading this article.
Step 1
0.9.6rc8 run redsn0w
Click the Browse button and select the ipsw actions that have been downloaded from Apple.
Determine the IPSW.
NOTE: If you have an iPhone 3G, and will ask if you have the latest version of the iPhone 3G. If so, click Yes, otherwise No.
Step 2
On the next screen, where you will see six options, and check – just enter pwned DFU mode for the time to check.
Click Next.

Step 3
When redsn0w, follow the instructions on the screen carefully.
Make sure the device is out of power, and connect to your computer. If so, click the Next button.
Now there, as shown on the screen.
Step 3.1
Hold down the power button for 2 seconds. The device will reboot (apple logo is displayed).
Then hold the power button and hold the home button for 10 seconds. (The screen flashes and the device is off.)
When the device is out of power, and release the power button, but hold the home button for 20 seconds. (Example 20, but will in about 10 seconds).
- If all goes well, will put the device into DFU mode pwned. The screen of the device to be black and redsn0w will display “Done”.
Step 4
Click the Finish button to complete the process.

How to enter DFU mode with iH8sn0w IREB Pwned?
Process to enter DFU pwned iREB using redsn0w is the same here, but you do not have to determine the stock IPSW as redsn0w.But instead, select the device model. (I loved this feature)
Step 1.
Run iREB
Choose the device.
Step 2.
Follow the instructions on the screen. They are the same redsn0w.
Step 2.1
Hold down the power button for 2 seconds. The device will reboot (apple logo is displayed).
After more, keep the pressure on the power button and hold the home button for 10 seconds. (The screen flashes and the device is off.)
When the device is out of power, and release the power button, but hold the home button for 20 seconds.
If all goes well, will put the device into DFU mode pwned. The screen of the device to be black and iREB using the device with Limera1n. Once done, a message of success.
I would have. Close iREB now.
What to do after entering DFU mode using redsn0w or IREB pwned?
Well, now you can open iTunes and choose to restore the firmware IPSW assigned.
Remember to hold down the Shift key (Windows) or Option (Mac) on your keyboard while clicking the Restore button in iTunes.
